Queen of Shops comes to Town!

  Pickwick Paperie and the other shops from The Store, Keighley headed off to Leeds for a date with Mary Queen of Shops to attend the Be Inspired presentation from Mary Portas organised by Business Link.  It was an excellent evening with everyone who's everyone in retail in Leeds and the surrounding area attending.

Mary's message was as retailers we need to be nurturing our specialism, offering products that are good for our customers creating a feel good factor and good for our world:  products that are built to last, are sustainable or come from sustainable sources.  We need to create an environment where our customers can learn about the source of our products and understand the needs of the 21st century consumer.
